'Macbeth and the Witches' at Petworth House

Joshua Reynolds' 'Macbeth and the Witches' was removed from Petworth house for conservation and restoration. We were asked to deinstall the painting so that it could be rolled and removed to the conservation studio.

Turner and the Thames

‘Turner and the Thames’ exhibition at Turner's House, Twickenham

Patina were approached in 2019 by the Trustees of Turner's House, to discuss the possibility of cladding the walls in one of the rooms to allow artworks to be more securely installed. As the property is listed and had just been newly restored, we had to work closely with staff on site and work to their requirements. Fire retarded sustainable plywood was used inside the house and then lined and painted in September 2019. Patina then returned in January 2020 and installed the five selected artworks from Tate's collection, and it was a privilege to have installed the first paintings by Turner in his home since 1851.
